DCH today would have been blockbuster...and so many movies like Neerja, Queen, EV and Pink would have been flop in 2001

This was painful to read because of how bad the writing was. I am sorry but if someone is writing for a major website then I expect that they write with proper form and grammar. This was just a rant without any analysis.

DCH was not a flop. Yes, it was not a clean hit but it still did above average business with huge critical acclaim and went on to become a cult classic.

If the film had released in this era then it definitely would have become a huge hit. It was way ahead of its time and well someone has to become a path breaker.
