Vishal is releasing it on Shahid's birthday ... the movie better be good otherwise ... he'll be ruining his future birthdays. lol!

Just have kickass music and nothing will stop this film!

Hmm...kinda underwhelmed and disappointed with the trailer. It didn't feel as gritty, intense, and powerful like VB's previous movies. I expected more going into the war/in the war/aftermath scenes. I expected to see some eccentricity, some grit, and more darkness. The trailer didn't seem to flow all that well and I didn't like Kangana's entry scene. It seemed weird and the belt scene seemed awkward as well.

As far as performances from the trailer which obviously are probably not a real measure of how good/bad they might be in the movie.

Saif: I thought he was fine; seemed to suit the character. I just didn't feel connected to his character nor did I feel...any chemistry between him and Kangana. But I think his character will have more shades to explore in the movie.

Kangana: Okay. Her dialogue delivery puts me off sometimes but I liked two scenes of hers that really drew me in: the scene with Shahid lying down and the one at the end. She looked pretty.

Shahid: Best for me performance-wise in the trailer. Intense, charismatic and I thought him and Kangana had explosive chemistry. Not sure why their scenes feel so separated from the war though.

Hoping movie is a better indicator.

It does get a little adjusting to ... I wasn't expecting this packaging from him either. So going in, I was expecting grittier stuff... I watched Haider trailer yesterday to get into the flow of VB trailers 😆 So my mind was a bit wired.

Night and day difference in how these trailers are conceived. This is his MOST COMMERCIAL work. That would be needed since the budget is higher than his other films.

I've watched it many times... I'm already in love with the technical department... ya the VFX ain't the international standard... but the camera work and costume design is excellent. Music no surprise is great.

There's also one song sequence I'm excited about that you see as a group dance... you just see a flash of it. It looked stunning.

Story, screenplay and acting zabardast = Hit!

I feel Saif will be the "villain"

I think we all had very different expectations (expected to be more dark obviously) that's why it feels underwhelming the first time

Yeah, I think I had really high expectations for the movie to begin with as I really loved Haider and Omkara which is why it felt more underwhelming. I'm still interested in the movie thiugh. I have that much faith in VB.

HuffingtonPost is calling it movie of the year.

Am I the only one who didn't like it? Or maybe I was just expecting too much..🤔
