Ditto! I don't how people find Kajol overrated, she is the MOST natural actress to come out of bollywood in few decades. She doesn't need anything to embellish her acting, she can just act and nail it every time! She has a gift IMO. and rani is also an amazing actor, she is extremely versatile, but kajol is someone who I can watch over and over again without getting bored. I think kajol is just a notch better than rani, especially when it comes to comedy or romance.

Rani for sure: She's way more versatile than Kajol. Kajol on the other hand stuck to her run of the mill, girl next door type roles with no variety and is highly highly overrated.

Rani has a better track record and many wonderful and highly acclaimed performances under her belt.

Kajol is more effortless and natural. Her acting doesnt look like acting. She makes even the most ordinary character seem so real. For an example, Simran every girl who grew up abroad in the 90s or 80s could relate to her. Especially the ones that came from strict families.

Rani is great too. But I see more planning and effort on her part than say a Kajol.
