You think? 😆 Okay this is from google:Demonetization is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status as legal tender.Demonetization is necessary whenever there is a change of national currency. The old unit of currency must be retired and replaced with a new currency unit.Demonization or demonisation is the reinterpretation of polytheistic deities as evil, lying demons by other religions, generally monotheistic and henotheistic ones. The term has since been expanded to refer to any characterization of individuals, groups, or political bodies as evil.I hope I didn't misunderstand your question 😆
thankz for info@maroon 5 -- where were you last month? Members here talked of nothing but demonetisation.
In bollywood terms .. well the old 100 and 500 notes have been replaced s with new ones.. but there is a limit to how much money you can withdraw leading to long rows at banks and atms
And since the new notes are in short supply with extremely high demand, people (those who dont use cards and online banking) are being very careful about where they spend their money and watching movies is not high on their list.
There are also new 2000 inr notes but not alot of people willing to break one...cos of shortage of smaller notes.
Things were bad when all this started but hopefully life is normalising now.
