@candyflipping as Ranbirrocks said, no, Raees has no chance of surpassing Dangal's lifetime collections to become the biggest grosser. I will post a detailed prediction article for both Raees and Kaabil during the week of their release!

Even with the bad films I think many still tend to be curious about those predictions! Many times there will be fans of the actor in the film who want the film to succeed, whereas the non-fans are certain of what the box office fate will be!

@candyflipping There are many reasons as to why the box office collections of Raees won't be anywhere near Dangal, which I will go into detail about when I write my prediction for Raees. The clash with Kaabil and the relatively weaker release period are just two of the many reasons! Also, all of the films in the 300 crore club have some sort of real human drama/connection and could be watched by the entire family, whereas Raees seems like a regular masala film and also wouldn't be watched by the entire family ( Laila song is an example).
