I am in India and movie is getting very positive response, most shows are booked . If demonization factor wasn't there, your prediction would have no hurdles . But it's still an issue in smaller towns.
I still think 300+ is doable. Am watching it soon, so I would come back and comment on how doable is 375 cr. Till then, keep up good work

But lifetime is really huge I feel! But I can see where you are coming from... WOM is EXCELLENT! Film might earn that much

The opening has turned out a little higher than I expected 😆 29.75 crores (including Tamil and Telegu collections)

Top Opening Days All Time - Dangal 7th

Dangal (Hindi) is the seventh highest opening of all time and the second highest non holiday of all time behind Dhoom 3. The collections of the film have been driven by North iIndia where East Punjab is the fourth fourth highest opening of all time and Delhi / UP is sixth highest of all time. Mumbai is outside the top ten. The odd one out is Singham Returns as that is the only non Khan film in the list. The biggest plus for Dangal is that the business has come on a non holiday and this gives it potential to grow over the weekend and Sunday has the potential to chalenge for the highest single day ever as it will be bigger than a normal Sunday due to it being Christmas Day. The film did fare poorly in its dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions collectiong around 50 lakhs nett. The top openings days of all time are as follows.

1. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - 39.32 crore

2. Sultan - 36.59 crore

3. Happy New Year - 36.31 crore

4. Dhoom 3 - 32.48 crore

5. Singham Returns - 31.68 crore

6. Ek Tha Tiger - 30.61 crore

7. Chennai Express - 30.48 crore

8. Dangal - 29.25 crore apprx

9. Bajrangi Bhaijaan - 26.67 crore

10. PK - 25.45 crore

Dangal wont do more than 250 crores, that is my prediction.

Probably around 200 crores plus change.

Demonetization will affect it plus its not a commercial potboiler.

The film is not on Chak De India or Lagaan level, still a good movie nonetheless. Seeing the reviews and wom it can do even 400 cr. First weekend itself it may earn around 110 cr.
