You need to take a deeep breath and calm down. Absolutely no one is against Muslim names. It is the name taimoor which is upsetting to many. Most of us associate certain incidents/events with certain people. Those associations may stir up good or bad memories/feelings. For most INDIANS, not Pakistanis, not Africans, not Native Americans but INDIANS the name taimoor is synonymous with massacre, carnage, destruction. For a well known celebrity couple to give their kid the name that is offensive to the majority is like waving the middle finger at the majority. Unfortunately no matter how democratic a country is the feelings and sentiments of the majority do and should matter.
But then again, it is their personal business so why should anyone care. The baby is cute, i just wish he had a name to match him.
