Modern movie apparently shows Vaani not having any sexual relationship with her new Boyfriend but Ranveer remains sexually obsessed and active after breakup. Why the modern girl is not so modern in the modern film? 😆

Because Ranveer didn't grow after his breakup, he still remained confined in his bubble and wanted to have fun sleeping around with girls!

Vaani on other hand was tired with her lifestyle and wanted stability. She wanted to settle down and take time before deciding on 'THE'Man... This drives the story in second half

That modern girl is very much modern, and more 'modern' than Ranveer is. Film has tried to balance the issue of sexism, atleast in its characterisation

Similar to sexist Lisa part in ADHM, Befikre shows french women as objects only. Insulting and using them is justified as long as the women are not desi. 👏

In an earlier interview, Nihalani had intellectualised Ranbir Kapoor, James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Aamir Khan's kissing skills, saying that their kisses don't live up to his sanskari standards as they are too "intense". In other words, when Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and James Bond kiss they don't radiate "affection, warmth and kinship".
