He could do this role in his sleep IMO, but she even raved about him in Gunday. To me it's pretty obvious in their interviews that she really likes him.

SPOILERS(Ok not so much)

Well good things first the hall was full, first half is treat to watch until Befikre's title track comes along and from there is a constant downslide Ranveer is the best thing about the film. Its one man show and it rests completely on his shoulders, he is impeccable as Dharam but he could have done this role in sleep. Also he has an amazing comic timing. HE IS VERSATILE LIKE HELL

I also liked actors who payed Vaani's parents especially her mom.

Now, I had some expectations reading the review considering I like Anupama but alas

Film has been stretched unnecessary and its pain to watch and hear the same thing agin and again.. Its not charming, its pain, its repetitive! Aditya Chopra is one of the most overrated directors and unfortunately this is his worst.

Screenplay is very week and conversations between leads are not compelling. It put me to sleep. There isn't a single moment which I can thing of that made me go in aww or something I will ponder about (besides Ranveer's butt shot)

Vaani is sexy and her figure is a dream but I really feel some other actress should have done Shaira. She was average at best... Not to take away from the fact that she had sizzling chemistry with Ranveer

Music is great and choreography is fun. Last dance sequence is stretched though - like everything else (I was worrying about Vaani's dress whole time)

My tip - Watch if you are Ranveer fan otherwise watch K2!

Ratings - 2/5 (For Ranveer, First 25 minutes, Chemistry, Music)

Reviews are mixed to good.

Could be a decent one time watch.

Can be a clean hit if weekend is 35+ which is likely. Also it has 2 free weeks no? Seems like a clean hit for Ranveer without DP finally!

we have faith in Ranveer and we know well a single movie doesnt make or break career of actors... agar aisa hota toh Salman bhai aaj megastar nahi hotey...

Ranveer fans have calmed down because they were not expecting this kind of ubermodern romcom from traditional movie maker Aditya Chopra. this is a risky movie from the start once we saw the first promo. It's not something that we can have huge expectations about
