Ajay runs scared of Rajnikanth; No BW release in Diwali 2017

DNA After Hrs reported on (October 4) that Golmaal 4might get postponed because the director Rohit Shetty did not want to clash with Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0.

At the time, everyone connected to the film went to great lengths to deny moving fromt he announced date. Also, Rohit and Ajay Devgn were confident that 2.0 wouldn't release on Diwali (October 19) hence they sent out a press release saying they were releasing on Diwali 2017. But after the recent teaser of 2.0 recently they team seems to have done a rethink. The combined power of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Shankar might be too much for Golmaal 4.

And since Ajay had earlier faced a clash with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Diwali this year, they decided to shift the release of the film. G4 will release their film on October 6, 2017, two weeks before 2.0 thus giving space to both the films." 2.0 creative producer, Raju Mahalingam welcomed this decision and posted on social media, "Rohitji, thanks for the magnanimous support given for 2.0! You are indeed a great fan of our @superstarrajini!"
