On Topic this would be the reply of any educated and wise father .👏
I cannot understand the extreme hatred of some people to the actress and her family . Did they really expect him to deliver 1 hour speech on feminism and bash ranveer ? I would never appreciate if my father respond on my behalf if I am at DP's age . But I know what ever was his reply those who bashed him will make negative comments because people who are blind with hate speaks nonsense always.

Marriage material means who you think would make a good spouse for you. Girls also speak of "marriage material" when it comes to men. It is not patriarchal.
Deepika is a marriage material to Ranveer, he isn't declaring that she is marriage material in the country or something. The question was put to him, in his eyes, she is marriage material... it differs for different guys. His opinion of who is a marriage material is wrong?
Don't we all(most of us) have an idea of what type of person we'd like to marry? And since when did having an opinion of who we'd like to marry mean that the others aren't worth getting married? It's just personal preferance.

It really does not mean what you are saying. He could have said something else if he meant it in a way you are trying to project. And it's wrong when girls do that too about calling a guy marriage material but it is mostly happening with girls so you shouldn't try to lessen how severe it is - like a girl above 30 is called not marriage material, if a girl is a working woman she is not marriage material, if a girl is not fair she is not marriage material etc. It's very wrong.
It is not personal preference. It is him declaring what kind of a girl comes in category of marriage material or not. If he meant it that he just likes Deepika and finds her to be what he wants to marry, he should have said she is his girl of dreams instead of saying she is marriage material

seriously, from where do people even come up with this shit, without any proofs, just cause he is DP's dad.

wonder what they themselves have achieved in life, to question such a respected sport person.

Lol Prakash Padukone is very successful even without Deepika, everyone in her family is super successful. 😆 She grew up into an affluent family which is ofcourse cos of her father so it's like a team effort and not just Deepika Padukone being the sole breadwinner or anything

Finding Ranveer a sexiest because of his marriage material comments is one thing, but degrading Deepika's father is way too much.
It's normal not to like Deepika but why the hate on her father? I really understand how you can not like someone but I really don't get it how you can hate someone so much, that you hate automatically everything about her including her family members. That's really unhealthy 😕 .

I know there have been "just" 2-3 post which were talking bad about him, but alone that was too much...
