Deepika's father Prakash Padukone reacts to Ranveer Singh's marriage material' remark..

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone continue to make news. When it's not for their appearance at the Ambani bash where they walked out hand-in-hand, it's for the flamboyant actor's remark about his ladylove on a chat show. When Ranveer was recently asked about Deepika on a popular chat show, he stated that he'd like to marry her as she is "marriage material". A section of social media users deemed Ranveer's remark as sexist.

Now, the actress' father Prakash Padukone opened up on the subject but chose to offer a diplomatic reply. The former badminton star said that both Ranveer and Deepika are adults and know what they are doing. He further added that as a father, he has given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions and even in this case, she was free to decide whatever she wanted to do.
