Roggie- I haven't followed anything about Tamasha except in IF .But whatever you said on ARR,so true. Rockstar and Tamasha songs are freakingly brilliant. His songs are so haunting that sometimes you feel real pain ,that I feel for the lost love that I never had.
P.s - Is it worth watching?

I may be in the minority but I really liked the film. One of Deepika's best performances.

Nautanki - I watched Tamasha in flight , I liked it so much that I watched it again online. That was my movie of becoming RK fan. Now whenever we go by that airline, I watch Tamasha 😆
You may either love it or hate it. There's no middle path for this movie.
Roggie - I feel Tamasha album is better than YJHD n ADHM . why did the songs not catch up people's fancy?

I dont know..I din't like the film tbh and the first half in particular was a sordid mess..But then, I have always found Imtiaz to be incredibly overrated..The best part of his films have always been the cinematography and the music..Just the way he shoots them, he makes you want to go there..And I think he makes for a great combo with ARR..In the sense that as crappy as they may be IMO, his stories somehow seem to inspire great music..Especially stuff like Kun Faya Kun which is probably right up there just for that whole magical and spiritual vibe it has going for it..

@RR- Depends..YJHD for instance is mainsteam Bollywood music at its best..The type which can instantly connect and become popular..I'd rate Kabira Encore over every other song in the album in terms of its awesomeness yet its Badtameez Dil and Balam Pichkari which are more popular and gave the film the hype it had before its release..

I liked the film for its music and performances, Imtiaz had a great concept but the execution was messy and bumpy. RK and Deepika gave their best. One of ARR's best among recent works. When I first heard all the songs, I liked Matargashti and Heer, Didn't like wat wat at all, later on couldn't stop listening to it, Agar tum saath ho is the classical hit no but my most fav is Safarnama, it lyrically explains the theme of the film.

I was disappointed with this movie. Imtiaz lost opportunity to make a wonderful film. He let RK DP and fans down .

Tamasha is an underrated gem, the film which didn't get its due but I'm now happy to see that finally people have started praising this film to sky high post its release (Do check the twitter hashtag of Tamasha) 😊 I could relate myself to a very personal level with Tamasha! That film is very special to my heart. The last time I got so moved by a film that was Taare Zameen Par! That part when Ved shares his own story I couldn't stop crying 😭 That was the high point of Tamasha. My most favorite film & character of Ranbir's till date! His career's finest performance IMO. It still breaks my heart the way he was robbed off at all the award shows 💔 Pinnacle of Talent ⭐️ In a league of his own 👏 Good post TM 🥳

I checked the nominations and BM won popular awards and AB won awards for Piku. I guess it was a very tough competition.
