I wanted to ask this how can you differentiate between The PR game and yellow journalism to personal- life news? because all I see here is only the PR game to blame and attacking the star PR. I am not denying the PR game but sometimes yellow journalism takes advantage of the situation just to attract attention like we see different stories about a a situation each based on the writer creative imagination. for example, we saw many news about if Kat coming to KWK and with whom and some member here attacked her saying she went to stay in the news and her PR is spreading news. we see news about her because these writers know that there is a chance that she would speak about her personal life and people went to know. we thinks worse of the stars we dislike and forget our rationality which give the yellow journalism the advantage. That is why most of these news are about RK, DP and Kat.

The PR game exists but I do not think these stars went to publish stories that would put them in a negative light.

Donno about others but I detect a PR article by the adjectives they use for the star. When an article is writen from a neutral POV, it won't try to show one star as the best thing that happened with the world. For insatnce, DP's PR articles will never fail to mention how sanskari, prim n proper and talented and secure she is. Also she's called Dipla or some other nick names that fans use. 😆

PS: That's an example. DP fans don't jump on me. I know all have PRs.

I agree.. most people on this forum think every article portraying an actor in good light is PR, and every article portraying an actor in bad light is the PR of the rival actor.. when fact is, like you said, it is not always the case. Yellow journalism thrives. We may like to forget, but the reporters are also people, with their own biases, just like critics and fans, and hence some will fawn over a certain star, not because they are on their payroll, but may be because they really like them. It's possible.

In some very rare cases, where the article gets too defensive, you can guess it's the PR.. but otherwise, for the most part, it is yellow journalism.
