actually ranveer said it that SLB after seeing bbb called Ranveer and said i wanna cast u in my film.It happened during LVRB shooting.Like kareena left ram-leela and deepika was cast in.It was news back then.No such stuff about the male lead.

Also,It was late 2011.Ranveer just got his lootera look.In the Tattad Tattad making video,slb was composing the song with aditya narayan and Ranveer was there too,with same haircut.Wasn't sushant in TV at that point or u wanna say slb wanna cast a tv actor right way after he left TV?

Another article,it glorified MS dhoni and said Ranveer last film was flop with YRF.This pr game is not hard to guess man.

SSR should be happy he is out of YRF's jail.

^ ikr? YRF is screwing him over. LVRB first killed his momentum, Gunday erased the critical goodwill of Lootera + RL, & then Kill Dill erased his commercial goodwill. He was in a good place after DDD + BM and Befikre may tank that again.

But SSR wasn't the underdog post Kai Poi Che/SDR. He had the better YRF projects on paper (DBB & Paani), and he was supposed to the poster boy of YRF's "new, smart commercial cinema". Waiting for Paani was where he lost out, but RS similarly lost time when he had that back injury during Lootera & when Adi made him wait post BBB.

Entire MSD promotion was done by Sushant and Neeraj Pandey barring only 2-3 events were MSD was present. MSD wasn't even there in any of the reality shows too. Watch Sushant's Jhalak epi ...there was some good 5 minutes in reference to Sushant's Jhalak journey. 😉 The film did get mixed reviews but his performance din't. It was immensely praised.

And as for the rivalry ...its fine...they are all competitive and all these things will happen...I am not gonna blame Ranveer for it either.
