No it wasn't upto to them alone but they would have been part of the decision.

Dont we all discuss things in the family before doing it? If we are taking a career related decision dont we discuss it in the family?My point was they did support her doing the movie.

You dont think its a big deal fine but i do think it is considering that this is still India.How many married actresses have done bold scenes after marriage.Hardly because its not a normal thing here.Families generally dont support this.But they did they were professional enough to understand this is just work.So i do think its very progressive of them.
