VARANASI: Brushing aside the rumours that their relationship was on the rocks, Aishwarya Rai accompanied the Bachchan family to this holy city on Sunday night.
They are likely to offer Mangla Arti at Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi on Monday morning.
According to the office of ADM (protocol), Samajwadi Party general-secretary Amar Singh along with Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, brother Ajitabh and his daughter Namrata and Aishwarya Rai arrived here around 10 pm on Sunday.
Jaya Bachchan was already in the city for the past few days for the shooting of a Yash Raj banner film.
Soon after the arrival, the Bachchan family, accompanied by Aishwarya, went straight to the Kashi Vishwanath temple to offer prayer.
They will visit the temple again around 3 am on Monday to perform 'mangla arti'.
