It is no surprise when an actor/actress agrees to do a film for a director or a producer friend, or even for their staff who have newly taken to filmmaking. No different is this tale of an A-list actor will be seen in a film next month. The grapevine is buzzing that apparently, the actor was reluctant to take up the project as the film was said to be a re-launch pad for the actress. The actor found it difficult to refuse the project as not only the project a big ticket but was also helmed by an elusive well-known director.

According to a source, the film is largely about providing a much-needed boost to the actress' career. And while the trailer has got many mixed reviews, it certainly has set many a tongues wagging. While the actor's heart and soul are not in the film, it will be intriguing to see how the film turns out. What remains is to see whether this film will cost him his popularity.

We all saw what happens when you malign image of a star. It happened with RK and now its happening with Veer. Not good.
