they have good idea of business/BO unlike some over confident filmmakers jo 100 crore ke budget main bombay velvet ,MJD jaise movies banate hai.

bahut baar yeh bhi hota hai itni opening mili hai toh utni buri nahi hogi toh bheed chaal mein sab kood gaye 😆

besharam on its opening day minted 21 crores and was one of the biggest releases of 2013. still it was declared a flop on the fourth day of release and was a disaster. so content , wom, critical response decides the fate of a movie unless its a khan movie.

neagtivity is spreading news that movie is crap though it might be true from weeks before the movie release . Such kind of grapevine is bad for the movie and directly affects the opening weekend of the movie . Now a days movies are largely dependent on these 3 days and hence it is very much important .

Examples :_

1. Bombay velvet - movie was doomed from the very beginning , so much negativity was there even before the release and even before the trailer launch that it took an uprecedented low opening for ranbir kapoor starter

2. fitoor - same as above

In both the above cases propaganda was started quite a long time before the release and I suspect people like KRK were paid to do so as was evident from his demeanour.😳

Negativity to me is when people try to influence others by asking them to boycott a movie, or run a social media campaign that are negative in nature - and they do so with some motive and do it consciously with the intent of maligning a movie's prospects. In case of Befikre, it was mostly individual opinion that a person did not like the content... based on the promos... I know that if people in large numbers say the same thing it influences others too... But in this case the intent is not to criticize to bring down the movie knowingly.. but it was what people genuinely feel.
