No need to say sorry. B & C Centres are smaller cities & rural villages mainly. Villages don't have cinema normally, they have to visit city to watch films. In these smaller cities, no proper arrangements are done for audience, so ppl usually avoid watching them. It is also divided based on Population.

Rural Centre up to 9,999
Semi-urban centre 10,000 to 99,999
Urban centre 100,000 to 999,999
Metropolitan centre 1,000,000 and above

Not Sure, but it will be like this only.

Ticket Rates in Plexes

From 2200 (Yes, ADHM has this price) - 110/-

SS Prices - 25 - 50 - maximum 75/-

If industry has to survive this crisis, audience not turning up for films, irrespective of good or bad film, they need to cut down TICKET PRICES.

Multiplex has ambience, arrangement, SS lacks in that, once you regulate prices & proper management as per audience, you will have more ppl watching those films.

Most movies are on TV within 2-3 months of release . So a lot of people think that it may be good movie but we'll watch on TV
Online movies are also eating into profits .
You need a real motivation to go out n watch a movie in theatre. It's not cheap if you add popcorn and other expenses with movie ticket for family of 3!!

Bold - you mean Rs 2200/ticket ??

What would be the avg price for a multiplex ticket across 2 weeks movie run ?

its too expensive to go the movies
and when u can get the fake dvd for less and can watch it at home why would one go to watch it for more. these new stars dnt have true fans. the khans have built up a fan base. these new ones are only as good as their last release. they need to explore and push themselves as actors and do quality movies coz no1 is gona spend movie on them if they dnt do quality work. bt ticket prices have to go down

The last thing Bollywood needs is more cinemas. Cinemas are closing, production houses are shutting down. Bollywood films are incurring huge loses while Hollywood films are grossing 100+ Cr.

First thing is, other than Salman, Aamir and Akshay, every actors fee must be slashed in half. These corporate studios popped up and started paying these stars insane amounts of money, leading to over budget films, high film prices which in turn leads to high ticket prices. That by itself will lead to more budget friendly films and lead to reduction in ticket prices.
Secondly, more 'Indian' cinema. Nobody cares about your VFX effects or foreign locales nowadays. Rather watch a more advanced VFX in a Hollywood film for that. Whether it's all time grossers like Gadar, HAHK or 3 Idiots or the recent PK, BB, Sultan and the upcoming Dangal, they've all been Indian, very Indian. None of them even had a foreign locale except 15 mins in PK.

busy ki baat nahi hai , most of the people were irriated by ADHm nautanki and Shivaay songs were blah . So sabne socha ghar pe aaram karne is better than wasting time . Haan kuch log gaye but wo numbers nahi mila .
Also keep one thing in mind ki shivaay 's ticket prices were lower in comparison to ADHM toh ho sakta hai footfalls shivaay ka jyada aaye

Both movies were blah . It Shows star power of Salman , yet again . That's why his movies should come on festivals so that people can earn money.
These two couldn't give Diwali business any boost
