Deepika committed the biggest mistake by not releasing any in this year and the next film will be after another year.

She is no KHAN that can years break from Bollywood, stay relevant.

Because firstly the credit for success of Sultan goes to Salman only.Her acting was good but movie wasn't successful because of her same case with PK.Once ADHM becomes a hit(its not a hit till now) then she should get equal credit but not for PK or Sultan as she hardly had any role.But in case of Deepika her movies are hit because of her as well as the other members of the team Bajirao Mastani,Piku,Ramleela etc were also hits because of her.

Has Anushka won any awards as of now?No .Deepika has two best actresses awards to her name.

I rest my case.

I've been a fan of Anu since that KWK episode when the whole world was bashing her. Anushka in NH10 was superb and I wish she had more roles like that. I've expectations from Phillauri. Rooting for her to give a killer performance! BBB was terrific and she needs something like that again.

As a deepika fan i will jus say no bollywood release between december 2015 and dec 2017 is too much of a gap...she is literally giving her rivals a chance to get ahead...

Anushka is a good actress and she can give so many good performances one after the other but she wont ever taste the kind of craze or success forget Deepikas even the kind of number one spot Katrina had who is even not a good actress. Even Kangana comes across as bigger Star than her.

I like Anushka and she is a good actress and enjoy her performances but thats it about her. She is allowed to shine now bc there is right now no one else no PC, Kangana, DP only Alia.

Next year when those ladys are all back on screen she can give the best performance ever but audiences will have the other actresses more in mind than her.

Sultan was Salman's film all the way and ADHM hasn't been declared a hit yet.

Deepika has way more popularity than Anu tbh. Even with big movies Anu is still stuck where she is.

Anushka is the Frank Lampard of BW, always delivers but never the best player of the world. I mean what is their to be the number 1 in a season when Messis and Ronaldos of BW are absent. Anushka may get the "so-called" title of number 1, but is it really worth??? Nah, simply nah.

Agree Anushka is more like a supporting cast in all of her movies. People went to watch Sultan because of Salman Khan, PK because of Aamir and then ADHM because of Ranbir and Aish.

Let us see when she can give a Queen of her own like Kangana. NH24 was good but she needs more such movies.

People actually go to watch Deepika in a movie. She has that star pull.Deepika still has more endorsements than Anushka in-spite than not present in Bollywood for few months.

Anushkha needs to be the main attraction in a movie than the supporting lead.

I had been confused most of the times thinking who is a better actor but my confusion is over after watching ADHM

Compare deepika dialogue delivery mai.. Mona.. Mona darling in tamasha
To my name is khan.. Alizeh khan and I'm not a terrorist..
Deepika is really a perfectionist..
If you don't agree watch tamasha first half and ADHM first half.. Anushka was really tough to tolerate in ADHM... Ranbir And Aish saved day for me

I've liked Deepika more and more in the recent years. And to be honest, she has a much greater star appeal than Anushka. I don't believe she is overrated, like a lot of people on this forum do, but then, neither have I ever believed she needs to be placed on a higher pedestal than the likes of PC, Vidya, Kangana or as of now, Anushka. They've all given more varied and powerful performances than her. Yet somehow she's kept on this untouchable higher stand.

Off-screen, I prefer Anushka. She's relatable, but also, her personality is no-nonsense and honest. She might talk a lot, but she doesn't insult people, or put up a fake diplomatic picture either. Yet she's courteous and friendly. The fact that people always talk highly of her should be an indication of that, including her ex. Also, the fact that she's brave enough to go and produce a movie she believes in, rather than not see it happen because of budget issues/salary - you want to root for that kind of person. She's got back to back blockbusters and hits and yet people will still be stuck on Virat and the lip surgery. It's annoying really.

Also, she has a great line-up. The next one with SRK looks superb, and if her home production is as good as NH10, she's set. Consistency matters, and there she's delivered.
