Few made fun of Zara when she made "leaving the forum " thread.

And this thread is a prime example of why She wanted to leave in the first place.

I go to ADHM review thread there is someone picking on Zara .

I go to any Ranveer deepika thread there is someone who picks on her.

Every Freaking thread.

It has become a norm here now.

Bash Ranveer all you want who is and can stop anyone here but why pick on a member who clarifies rather then fight?

You can defend your fav anyway you like (abuse ,go personal ) but Zara can't eh?

Interestingly, just read the poem/play Padmavati is based on and I'm shocked Ranveer didn't go for the Raja's role. It is so so rich. Easily the best role out of all. Has it all emotion, action, romance and the way the king dies hiding in a temple with his wife and telling her that he won't make it but she should go to khijli to save the people of the kingdom, man that scene will just win the movie.

Ranveer doesn't even have any scenes with Deepika because khijli never gets to meet her except a reflection.

Now hoping, SLB doesn't play favorites. Also I finally understand Ranveer's angst, he was probably under the impression that the film will be all about Khijli's obsession but it's anything but if the play is anything to go by. Wasn't too happy Shahid was doing this role of a weak King, but Raja was anything but weak.

May be he wasn't given the option to chose from?

He says in the interview that he was told the narrative & he went for Befikre's shoot. After he returns, script had few changes. May be earlier Ratan's character wasn't as important. but I think SLB couldn't get 150 crore investment and so he had to make Ratan's character more prominent to add 3rd actor.

The same thing could have said when some members were wasting time picking up the 'victim'

anyway, if you are interested you can read Rajkahini by Abanindra Nath Tagore. There was a nice translation available online. Ratan was not a strong character. He got caught by Khilji after Khilji had seen the reflection of Padmini. So it was not Ratan who hid her wife. Actually everything was done by Padmini herself. May be there are different version of the story as some claim its a folk story and fictional. Padimini didn't existed in the 1st place

but then there's the padmavat kabya the origin of padmini's tale in which her and ratan's love story is uber sweet😳 u read padmabatir bibahomongol ?The bengali translated poem which is a portion of padmavat we had in our textbook?

Rajkahini is awesome though.ratan indeed was a fool though which rajput king in that era would show his famous for her beauty wife to a sultan,who's a known womanizer😕

Shahid's role (If SLB doesn't butcher Raja's character) is actually the most fascinating in the story. More intriguing than Khilji and Padmini. The one most complicated and most humane character. Khilji had no justification for what he did... he was all bad, one-tone... basically pure negative with no shades. Padmini was all good..noble, brave and all white with no shades. Raja was torn and fascinating. He fought, he loved and he lost. It will be interesting to see how SLB presents Shahid.
