I think you need to know the context and not the line out of context. Ranbir says he loves Rafi, and so Anushka teases him "what Rafi, the one who used to cry?" he is immediately outraged. That does not affect his love for Rafi in any way, and Rafi songs are still a reference point for him years later after he becomes a bit known for his singing. In fact, the entire movie is full of love for other Bollywood movies, and one of the reasons I liked it.

Arey its a movie !! Anu's character mocks many people. Rafi jee is respected by Ayaan and he is his idol.

Looks like world is turning into IF now a days
