Internet is calling out Ellen DeGeneres for being RUDE to Priyanka Chopra on her chat show

Fans are quite unhappy about how Ellen DeGeneres behaved with Priyanka Chopra

We all love Ellen DeGeneres. Don't we? The Ellen DeGeneres Show is particularly very popular in India, so much that it airs twice a day here - a fact that was even mentioned when Priyanka Chopra made an appearance on the show yesterday. Priyanka, who earlier appeared on various chat shows such as The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Chelsea Show, was pretty excited to be featured on Ellen. The first half of her chat with Ellen could hands down be the best celeb appearance on a chat show in the longest time. PeeCee had to down a freakin' tequila shot on international TV after Ellen made her do the Drinko Plinko Challenge. It was all going "smooth" until Ellen, who is quite popular for her with and sarcasm, mentioned Priyanka's claim to fame. And internet is calling the chat show host for being rude to Priyanka and making the interview a bit awkward.

Ellen has shared the video of her interview with Priyanka on social media platforms and the comments section is exploding with comments objecting to her rudeness towards the Quantico star. Even on Youtube where the video has been posted by a few fans of the show the comments section is filled with fans who disliked the interview. The problem began when Ellen says that a network just handed out the show to Priyanka when she got here, and she picked Quantico. Priyanka went for a stroll down the awkward-ville and said "That's...I mean...yes... KIND OF what happened." Ellen further says "It is what happened. People were so excited to 'cause you are such a huge star and you are beautiful and you can act. That...". "..doesn't happen often" Priyanka cut in at this point. Ouch! Did she got offended by the fact that her hard work to reach here was overlooked? "No! It does. It happens all the time as a matter of fact. But I am just complimenting you because I should." Ellen replied. The two further moved on to talk about Quantico, just casually trying to get past the awkwardness. But fans are still stuck at this set of exchange and well...calling Ellen rude.

I have seen the trailers and Ellen was really bad to her. So much mocking and arrogant comments!

Didn't realize how butt hurt Indian media is 😲 😆 clearly you've never seen Ellen's show. She is anything but rude to her guests! If the way she was with PC then god knows what people will think at how she was with michelle obama and Leonardo DiCaprio who's interviews are a lot more humorous than the PC one 🥱

Thats how ellen generally speaks, watch out her other interviews. Pri want that special.

awww.. PC should've thrown in a comment too - "yes, no one on this planet is as lucky as me" . And both would've moved on from there. Because, come on, no matter what Ellen or anyone says, the entire world knows she is working hard.

snarky is never funny it comes across as bitchy... its a miracle you made it this far...ellen was rude

I watch the show almost every day..she was hardly rude and PC by now knows very well how to tackle such situations in talk shows..don't know why or how was Ellen came across as rude,yes their sense of humor might be little different than ours😕

if people think Ellen is rude then they're in for a awakening of how John oliver and Bill Maer are 😲 heck even Kimmel is rude to his guests - he is plain nasty to some of them
