Why do people overpraise Deepika's acting?

😆 Deepika has come in some iconic movies. But her acting is over praised on this forum. She may be better than most in her generation. However Baijaro is a long gap now. She hasn't done anything groundbreaking by signing another SLB film. Why not do a regional movie or experiment? Anyway please share your thoughts. 😉

I don't think she will take any risk of doing experiment as long as she is delivering hit movies. After a number of flops, if that happens in future, she may think of going out of the box. She did not want Vicky Kaushal as the king in Padmavati instead she wanted a big name. It proves that she wants to make sure that the movie becomes a hit as all the three stars' fans would come and watch it. I think it shows her insecurity. She should not be insecure as she and Ranveer have a huge fanbase.

Deepika has been praised a lot on this forum but I don't think its for her acting that much...I think her fans are quite realistic when it comes to how she acts...she was praised a lot during Piku and Tamasha which I think she deserved.

Why Deepika needs to regional movie? She uses her brain by selecting most money making movies which gives her the maximum number of endorsement.

Deepika is a good actor but not the best i would rate Vidya and Kangana as best.

But why should she sign a regional film or do an experiment when she is getting good offers.What is wrong with 'Padmavati'?

1)A period drama which is rare in Bollywood

2)Its a female centric story and still has two popular male actors

3)Being made on a lavish scale

which heroine in her right mind would reject this movie and do a regional movie or something else?

hmmm would you take a risk of making changes to it if your business is doing tremendously well? Or you will continue to run the business as it is? You answer your own question!!

She deserves every bit of the praise she gets for her acting. She stole the show in Tamasha even though the film wasnt about her character.

I find Deepika to be the most grossly over-rated actress in years! BUT, the most aptly-rated female superstar and beauty.

She is not a brilliant actress but she is not bad either.
