This RK vs SRK has been made into RK vs RS. This is what is happening since some time.

Waise Ranveer was not even Relevant till Bajirao (as per most) and Ranbir was BW ka Chiraag

It's been maybe a year of Ranveer's existence here yet he has garnered more polarizing opinions than most so called SuperStars of 20+years as well as 9 years.

For me Ranbir has yet to prove himself in terms of *versatility* ----- while SRK has given successful movies in most of the genres ---- so SRK --- plus *CDI Swades* trumps Barfi for me --- so for now SRK ---- but RK is naturally talented & has many years under his belt ---- *best actor among the new gen* --- he'll match up to SRK one day ---- plus offscreen they are both *witty & their charming self* ----- so it's natural for them to be compared ----- !!!!

I feel about RK, a bit of what I felt Ayan said once in KwK. I know everyone laughs that out, but I feel what he said in that moment came from the heart. I feel the same. He has the potential to be an all-time great. There are some things that feel so natural, it's incredible. I didn't even realize how much I liked him as an actor until I saw him do Besharam and felt disappointed at the wastage of talent. All characters SRK has done so far, including CDI, is something that RK can pull off at some point in his career, or so I feel. Not so sure if tables were reversed. SRK can be awesome, but there's just something about RK. Barfi was far more believable than SRK's stint in MNIK.


And his off screen personality (well if you can call promotions/IVs/award shows off screen!) helps immensely. And he can be as equally charming as SRK when he wants/needs to be. He is extremely witty and can be fun like we saw in TKSS. Also, he doesn't carry around that extra arrogance that SRK has. Maybe he might in 10-15 years if he ever becomes as popular, but until then, he's humble or extremely courteous. I like that. He's the only young actor I felt, in the midst of biggies like Aamir, Irfaan and Nawaz, who didn't feel out of place in Masand's round table. He reveres a certain respect even from those people. That's almost never seen in this industry.


Only hitch - his personal life is a total mess. Bacha phas gaya. 25 baras mein shaadi karke aya hota SRK ki tarah movie launch se pehle, toh aaj toh kahan pohanch jata. 2-3 toh bache bhi hogaye hote abhi tak. 😆

On that note ---- i like many of the SRK fans here since they appreciate *talented actors* & don't cut themselves short from praising others --- that's why they are fans of multiple actors at the same time ---- not a quality many fandoms suppose ------- that's why they come off more *positive & fun* on such threads ---- 👍🏼

Also, they have the courage to admit when SRK gives out a bad movie. Try saying any other fandom their lead actor had given/will give a bad movie. We all know what happens.
