Is Shahid Kapoor the reason behind Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone 'split'?

If the grapevine is to be believed, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's relationship hitting a rough patch has something to do with Shahid Kapoor. It was Dippy who was keen on Sasha being cast in Padmavati. This is something that did not go down well with Ranveer. Not only will Sasha get more screen time with Deepika, he will also have several intimate scenes with her in the film. There is also buzz that Deepika has asked director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to feature just her and Sasha in the film's first look. This has apparently left Ranveer fuming. Recently, when the trailer of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage was unveiled, Shahid heaped praises on the actress on Twitter.
Dippy replied to Sasha's compliments with kiss emojis. Well, that's reason enough for Ranveer to feel left out.
