Thank you, I enjoy your posts too! Oh yes, it's indeed truly rare to see a guy who is more in his feelings in entertainment. Usually even when men are supposed to be lovestruck, they're shown as aggressive and 'macho' as you've rightly put it...not individuals who can also be incredibly vulnerable and affectionate. Even when they're heartbroken, they're all 'grrr, majnu brawn!' 😆 rather than something like what's been portrayed in Channa Mereya. Credit goes to Karan I guess for creating a story around a vulnerable male character who is not ripping at the seams with the typical Prince Charming tropes...interesting things happen when a writer/director takes inspiration from real life and decides to adapt it for screen.

If u gave me the description of such a character I would choose Rk as the ideal choice from the current generation actors for the role.. ironical considering his real life image of being detached and emotionally unavailable..anyway one of my favourites of such moments by him comes from wake up Sid. After he gets the job in Aisha's office and she drops him at the auto and is going. He runs and hugs her from back. That's so adorable.. I love it..

So I agree with u guys on ayan.. its refreshing to see a male character like this.. hipefully it has translated well on screen..

It comes 2-3 seconds into the Cutie Pie song right - the third frame. Anushka's expression KILLS me like W*F is she doing 😭😆 I LOVE it!!! 😳 By the way I love that outfit she wears. She's holding a cactus in the same outfit in the trailer.

just posting it here.

Some tidbits:

Karan's tone seems he's really at an extremely cynical stage of life. But in some sort of peace with it. If Ayan is based on Karan, excited to see how Bir portrays this.

Karan says his office is his shrine and there's a similar line that Alizeh also tells Ayan in ADHM

KJO's diff office wall have various pics of Kajol. She seems to have a a hold on his heart despite all the nonsense that has transpired.

The famous bench and bridge scenes that are in every KJO directorial are not there in ADHM. (Like RK puts it, Karan seems to be moving away from the "Bible")
