Sorry for deviating the topic but I gain weight even after sniffing the food and members here are discussing all kind of yummy dishes How I wish I had a faster metabolism! 😭

I think Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma popularised it among non-Gujjus...we started eating it on Dussehra after we saw how much Jetha loved it...now its become our Dussehra routine too😆

Lucky You. I swear man, if I wasn't working today or if it wasn't too much of a prep work, I would have made it. But I aint that keen on cooking anyways. New Jersey mein hoti toh.. tasty Fafda Jalebi mil jate. It has lot of Gujju population.

Tarak Mehta, they overdo it. But yeah, Gujjus do like Fafda-Jalebi, specially on Dussehra. Town famous sweet shops have long queues. Almost everyone have them.

Fafda jalebi and tarak mehta ka ooltah chasma clashing with Gol gappe, Paani Puri , Masala Chaat, Chhole batole.
My Biryani beats the hell out of all!
