First of all I LOVE both those songs so much.

Madhuri has always been the greatest of all-time for me.

But her last 2 films left me so confused - W*F was she thinking?

Kajol on the other hand has gone from strength to strength.

But still Madhuri is better for the moment.

I liked Kajol probably best in Fanaa.

I watched Madhuri in Devdas and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Kajol could never, in decades, be able to pull that off with so much grace. Neither Chandramukhi, nor Paro actually. ;)

Off screen, we all know the answer.

Incidentally I think Pukar is my favourite performance by Madhuri. I loved Anjali's character so much. She goes through so much. She was hilarious in so many scenes - her anguish when she realises she betrayed Jai - her heartbreak knowing he's in love with another woman - the jealousy when Pooja calls him during lunch - her revenge - her repentence - all in all make her a very nuanced but lovable character.

Kajol - She has the ability to make simple roles into legendary & iconic. She never had to do parallel cinema to prove her worth/mettele/greatness as an actress. She can effortlessly, brilliantly & perfectly pull off every genre film be it comedy/negative/drama/serious by delivering EXCEPTIONAL performance. That makes Kajol the most complete actress of all time 👏

Madhuri is the biggest female superstar of all time, no second thoughts about it.
but as an actor she was good but not something extraordinary. Kajol on the other hand as an actor is brilliant.
