No offense but this notion that they're going against public sentiment is quite manufactured by the self proclaimed nationalists out there. There are plenty of people in India who know how to differentiate between artists and terrorists. There are plenty of us who know that what has happened in the past few weeks has nothing to do with Mahira or Fawad or any other artist from Pakistan who's working in Bollywood. Yes, there are some oh so "patriotic" journalists on television who'll shout and scream to make everyone think their word is the only word out there but that ain't true.

I hope this is not true! This would be pathetic decision to say the least if it's true! And this is coming from someone who has been eagerly waiting for Raees ever since the teaser came out but I definitely don't support a ridiculous decision like this i.e if it's true. People are living in a fool's paradise if they think replacing Mahira or Fawad is the solution here. Infact these folks would be setting a bad precedent if they end up doing that (again if it's true). Today it's about artists from Pakistan, tomorrow it'd be about the storyline or the theme of the movie, where would this stop! Not to mention Shahrukh has already faced this bull with MNIK and Dilwale and he stood his ground on both occasions. So it'd end up reflecting him in an extremely poor light if he is on board with a decision like this i.e IF this is true.

I'm a citizen of India and I'm sure there are many on this forum who share my sentiment as well! Besides the population of India is huge! Trust me when I say most of this shrill about banning artists from Pakistan is manufactured by parties like SS and MNS. And I'm calling them bigots because that's what they're! These are people who effing beat up their own countrymen because they happen to migrate to Maharashtra for work or whatever. A whole lot of the folks in India can see right through their bull which is why many of us went out to watch a MNIK and a Dilwale despite their threats. The question of majority doesn't even arise here as nobody is voting here! People are being threatened with violence and vandalism here. Let people decide if they want to boycott ADHM or not! They're threatening because they know plenty out there would go watch the movie! If anything would hold some back, it'd be the threats which is where the cops need to come in and take stern action.

We are practical !! Why should so many Indians suffer? If Mahira is not replaced, chances of this movie helping her are less . This movie can't help her. Feel sorry for her , but it's like sacrificing one for saving 100. Good luck to Mahira.
