Yeah that exactly how I read the shirt. I thought the twitter reactions were pretty over the top. SJWs at it again as usual. The t-shirt is in fact trying to spread a positive message. Immigrants and refugees are many times looked at in a negative light. They are seen as 'outsiders.' The t-shirt is simply putting everyone on equal footing like "hey lets just call everyone a traveler rather then categorize them in a way that labels them as 'outsiders.'"

check my comment above... Its the word Refugees... Since Refugees are forced into that situation, and arent so by choice...she sporting it on her tee, is take as insensitive towards their plight.

She obviously understands the issue. People are misunderstanding the shirt.

thata an insensitive comment but I give benefit of doubt to PC she didn't think through about it in depth. But if she defends herself then I agree she is insensitive.

People are misunderstanding what she's trying to portray. That's sure. She's talking about herself in HW. It's pretty obvious.
