The kind side of Arbaaz Khan was recently revealed at a special event organised by animal welfare organisation.
Salman Khan's love for dogs is known to all but little did we know that his younger brother Arbaaz Khan too has a soft corner for the animals.
At a social event, 'adopt-a-thon' Arbaaz was invited as a celebrity speaker to share his thoughts about animals. There a black puppy was returned back by the family who had adopted him. The puppy had a little bit of mange on its forehead and while all the other dogs were adopted, no one adopted him. He was left all alone without any family.
That's when Arbaaz stepped in and decided to make him a part of his family!
Taroneish Bulsara, from the NGO World For All says, "Arbaaz had come on the celebrity panel for our last adopt-a-thon which we have on Saturdays and Sundays. He had come with director Vikas Bahl and his wife Richa, who also adopted quite a few puppies. We invite celebs to talk about what they feel about animals and why they love them. On Sunday, while all the animals got adopted, this black puppy with a little bit of mange on its forehead was returned by the people, who adopted him the day before. Arbaaz played with him for some time and I think he was upset that the family who had adopted him had returned the puppy so he said he would love to pick her up and take her home. He took Kali to his father Salim Khan's farm and I have heard that he is the favourite." (sic)
A source close to Arbaaz says, "He loves animals and would love to have a pet at home, but feels only when you can give your time and attention to them should you keep them. As an actor, you have to travel a lot and the dog misses you and ends up being looked after by other people which Arbaaz doesn't want. It's unfair to your pet." (sic)
