but shivay was never promoted as family movie nor targetted for family audience ! its a action movie and if iam not wrong ajay is a married man in the movie ..kissing his onscreen wife big deal ?

Action movies are more for family audience, at least HW. A kiss will be tolerated there. But not in a BW action movie by many as the audience is different. Family audience is part of the mass audience unless he wants only guys to come. One of the biggest appeal of a BW film and I have heard it time and again not just from Indian audiences but many other ethnicities as well is that they can watch a movie with their kids without kissing They don't care about content, they want to be entertained and watch a movie with their kids. This kiss was unnecessary and if he markets it like this he will kill a sizable chunk of the audience. So hope he had fun because IMO he has just killed a chunk of his audience which may have turned up. You may disagree so let us see how the BO does.

Kissing on screen is a line some people will not cross especially with kids. Does not matter what the characters play. We can argue on the merits and hypocrisy, but it is what it is.
