Akira crashed on its eighth day to add to the flop list of 2016. This was on the cards as occupancy so low on the weekdays but still it could have worked its way to around 30 crore nett but that is impossible now after the huge crash. The drop in collections is in the 90-95% range on the eighth day and the collections will in the 30 lakh nett range. The final Mumbai number can take it a bit higher but a few lakhs will not change the scenario. The film will stay below Jai Gangaajal and just about edge past Sarabjit but that film had better holds because of its North India business..
