I don't understand...why does RK needs a deepika...kats...parineeti..alia in the end just like KHKN in which juhi came in the end or yeh dillagi karishma came for saif in the end...ayan has a choice to go back to saba...she still loves him...they both can unite...i would prefer ayan-saba uniting as a happy ending...if a sad ending RK remains alone...

As long as it's something with a positive and upbeat spin, you know what I mean? I'm hoping that's the case based on what they've described the movie as so far and what Karan said about them exploring the theme of unrequited love but not overdoing and beating it to absolute death. Otherwise it feels like there's just been sooo many love stories from a while now where either the hero or heroine dies or better yet both die for good effect 😆 (Lootera, Ishaqzaade, Raanjhanaa, Haider, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, BV, BM, etc.) All just for that 'oh so epic' and tragic twist to things. Dunno if anyone will be dying here, doubt it, but it'd be refreshing to see something that can be emotional and yet doesn't want to go to that extreme end of pathos on the spectrum. Can't believe I'm basically craving and asking for a feel good movie, good old KJo style 😆

unrequited love is not depressing - like what most of the people think it to be - it is more liberating

KJo in his previous films also has taken up topics which are less understood

i hope the film reflects the true sense and meaning of unrequited love .

KJo in one of the IV's also mentioned how today's youth shut themselves up - I hope I am expecting the right things from this film .
