Why mostly all friendship-based movies have a love angle/triangle?

Whether it's YJHD, SOTY, KKHH, MDK, JTYJN, Dostana...Mostly all movies based on friendship end up having a love angle or a triangle. If a boy and girl are friends, they need to fall in love in the end or one friend would be having a soft corner for the other.

There are barely any movies like Dil Chahta Hai, 3 Idiots and ZNMD where more focus was on the friendship rather than the love angles.

I really miss watching movies based on true friendship as mostly all turn out to have focus on love angles rather than the friendship.

there are no proper female friendship movies either... are there??

aisha showed a lot of insecurity and jealousy in friendship and friendship was limited to shopping & talking about boys...

i hate this aspect of english shows and movies too... very few friendships stay the same... they all turn romantic 🤢
