Even I am not against SRK nor do I think the govt would spend time and make a law/ban just because of SRK. There might be many cases happening because of which the step has been taken.

Then why wont the same laws apply to them in terms of taking care of the child even if they divorce?

Why cant they be forced by law to take care of if the child is abnormal?

Anyway, this law will only make it easy for criminals to take over the whole racket, go underground and do everything secretly.

Whenever something is banned, blackmarket for that prospers and grows.

Actually the child born through surrogacy is totally (genetically and legally) the same as a biological one..so the same laws which govern custody of a child after divorce wud hold good for this child as well..this child is NOT going to go thru the process of adoption..it is completely the same as a child born thru wedlock..

I think Geneie mentioned it in one of her posts that the parents are considered biological parents...and BTW its all about regulations...when people adopt...suppose the child gets some disease after an year...can the parents abandon the child and say...oh she is not our responsibility any more...what ever complications we are talking about can happen in the case of adoption too...risk toh her jagah hai..
