I am surprised no biopic has been done on Indira Gandhi yet.

Kangana is the perfect actress to portray her. The focus of the film should be on the Emergency and Operation Blue Star with Akshay playing the role of Kuldeep Singh Brar.

Biopic on Indira Gandhi would be very much scandalous & controversial. Congress would never let any filmmaker show Emergency realities. And it would open wounds of some section of people.

You want to know about Emergency and Operation blue star, there is this documentary made by one of the news channel. "Pradhan Mantri".

It's a very good narration of how She gave power to Bhindrawale and when he turned too big & asked for Khalistan, operation blue star came into action. It's very intriguing. And puts lot of light on what all she did to gain power & to remain in power. She was a Iron lady no doubt. But she has lot of skeletons in her closet. We are only taught good stuff about her in text books.
