Did people not read his tweet or what. Nowhere has he claimed he's above the protocol. Nowhere is he even saying he wants some VIP treatment. All he tweeted was that it's irksome. I get people are used to comparisons here but when it's brought up in every scenario then it just ends up being amusing. Aamir is his own person. Maybe he has been detained too in the past but perhaps hasn't faced it as often as Shahrukh has because even though they share the same last name, it's probably the first name that's making the airport authorities detain him over and over again. Aamir anyways hardly tweets. Besides these are different individuals. A tweet saying he finds it irksome or inconvenient from no angle means he wants to bypass the protocol there. Considering how advanced technology is these days, I'm sure the system there can be fine tuned further too. Not just for him but for normal folks out there as well who face similar issues.

Please be thankful that it's not the case with you otherwise you won't be making fun here considering that you are not as powerful and famous as shahrukh or APJ kalam sir or any other powerful people detained ...and stand no chance at airport security if some confusion occurs godf forbid

It was shameful and disappointing to read comments from people of indian origin on foreign media sites like BBC etc justifying it simply because of the following reason - they don't like sharukh...he is muslim...he is an actor they are not fan of ...because of intolerance controversy ...or simply because they are fan of rival actor ...etc etc
