Been hearing really nice things about rustom from UAE who get to see them first.

Let's see.

I want rustom to win. Just cos HR and family calculator should fail. 😆

Yes. In a perfect world that would be the situation but Rustom is your normal feel good, cheese fest movie. Cheating isnt a new subject and people arent keen for court room dramas that happened decades ago. Akshay may have gambled too much on this one.

It would do less than 45 crores.

Mohenjo could be around 150-175 crores.

both should win but for rustom to win, it needs less than 100 crs...for MJ to win it needs more than 100 crs.. budget budget ki baat hai..
high budget might be the reason for MJ's downfall...
but audience do like a new story...so MJ might work too

Yes now this is another matter that if a movie is made with 1 crore and makes 10 crores vs a movie which is made with 75 crores and makes 100 crores is it really a hit or not. But Rustom does not have a theatre value it might be good for TV rights but I dont think a bf or gf will go on date to watch this movie, nor a family with kids will go and see it. Only probably some angry uncle aunty who have ongoing nok jhok will go and see it to get some ideas to spice up their sex lives. No matter how horribly done is MD it has atleast one time watch value

that's a good point.. that makes all the difference between stardom of Varun and Ranveer... whether it's important to pull off big movies or not😆 because Ranveer is the only new gen actor who has pulled off two big budgetted movies (Ramleela and Bajirao) as a lead. Other new gen actors haven't tried a 100 cr (except biru in BV), let alone 120 crs (bajirao budget)
