every critic is asking one ques...Why HR signed this movie? Even his bang bang which got mixed reviews made 180Cr lifetime n 1st day collected appx 28Cr. Accept the fact,...MJ is disastrous flop. WOM is avg n mostly critics bashed it. Really sad to see KRK wins it again...his review just matching box office collection whether you like it or not.

MJ 1st day collection is all time low at 7-8Cr which itself tells buzz of this movie is NIL. Even movie like happy new yr or Ra one was also floppped but they atleast did massive box office collection in 1st 3 days .

Now i,m really worried for Kaabil...Clashing with Raees gonna hamper it huge. But since SRK fan floppped as well...SO its gonna be battle of comebacks since both HR n SRK clash after registered flop movie.

I think now its the battle is all about numbers...so HR should sign his movies which are most action packed like Dhoom n Krrish.

The best thing about HR is,,,Never gives up...We are with you...Treat MJ as bad dream n tommorow there will be a new morning.

so the opening is low, and its first time for a GR starrer, seems like this time he has read a wrong film altogether, moreover a gap of two years work against his stardom. I am sure he is strong enough to get rid of this film and work on something fresh and fast , Kaabil will be good with a budget that is small, and whatever he will sign after kaabil will be known to us soon.

Just because the film will flop does not take away the hard work, I am happy he has got great reviews, and fans have loved him in the film.

I don't see Mohenjo Daro as a bad dream or whatever. He did a really good film after what seems like ages to me. Hrithik's problem is that he does few movies. Around 20 films in 16 years is so less. Hopefully he'll learn a lesson after this debacle of huge gap between Bang Bang and Mohenjo Daro.

The film will appeal to the overseas audience more I feel. Here, almost all theatres were housefull for evening shows.

Havent watched the movie and not a Hrithik fan but it is really something not so good to see a movie get thrashed and bashed even before the release. The film released and its not a great one but not the worst film ever made in Bollywood (i am sure about this)!!

The team must have worked day and night to work on this film, this genre is not really popular in BW so its a risk in itself to make up a film on this subject. Atleast MD should deserves appreciate for the hardwork involved

Mohenjo Daro has posted shockingly low numbers on its opening day at the box office. The first day collections are lower than much smaller films like Udta Punjab and Baaghi.

The Friday numbers have pretty much decided the box office fate of the film. It would need growth of 40-50% on Saturday to have any chance of recovering costs, but even that looks unlikely now as the film has shown drops at a few single-screen centres and multiplex business in the morning was at around the same level as Friday.

It's difficult to see where the film goes from here. With such low opening numbers, only a miracle can save it from becoming one of the biggest disappointments of Hrithik Roshan's career.

Clash or not, there was simply no interest amongst the audience to watch Mohenjo Daro on the big screen. Films like Bombay Velvet, Mohenjo Daro and to a certain extent even FAN - prove that irrespective of how big a star is, they are not bigger than the films they appear in. If the choice of films isn't good enough and the promos are unexciting, the audience can even reject a film from the makers of Jodhaa Akbar'.

Will Mohenjo Daro beat the 63 crore total of the 8-year-old Jodhaa Akbar, which was banned in 3 major states? Even that remains uncertain at the moment.

the same thought occurred to me as I was watching the movie...looked like Agneepath set in 2016 BC with non-linear narration with a diff protagonist 😆...
