Detailed review. Spoilers ahead but I will put the alert on it.

-don't be late to the show.. coz it doesnt take time to get into business. Yup... It's 2016 (I thought okay, it seems like modern time discoveries to connect the ancient time but..) its 2016 BC 😆 Hr's entry, few guys on indegenious kayaks, going into a velly.. and a huge Croc attack.. very well done.. just the blood looked so fake.

- The story moves fast, but it's predictable esp. it's HR in Krissh 2 Avatar.. but it doeant take long for him to move to the city of his dreams..

- light moments with some serious ones.. and 3 songs and a love story around the big story.. takes for a easy ride.

- The glimpse into the trade bwetween this "silk route" hub was explained as daily routine but once a year.. nothing too serious.. you take what I have, I take what u can give..

- As I predicted that last 30 minutes would take it to new level.. it just did that. I knew that flood had significance.. it did.. but I wont spoil it for you.. except that I really wish.. VFX was below par.

Hrithik is the sole carrier of the whole movie.. he is on a mission to carry a film like this like noone can.. his range in the movie is unbelievable.. from everything week to all thats strong, .. His fighting scenes in the erena with some bakar- fakar dudes.. is all thrills.. Basically , MD is Hrithik.

Pooja is just as good as one wants her to be.. she does perfect job as a heroine.. but more like in show case. Every other actor is just extra-to-supporting- actors, even Kabir Bedi.. the whole film is HRITHIK>

So, fast paced movie which start with a shicking croc fight and moves with nature, boy meets girl, rich vs poor, justice, fair play, public behaviour, leadership, when everything is done, and right leader is been chosen.. what does he faces with...?

SPOILER ALERT..

a catastrophe.. a Dam that was built on Sindhu river is about to be undone by weather God-Rain.. Hrithik has only few hours to save as many people to cross the river..

Those are well written scenes but VFX has let em down.. still, if your heart is bigger than eyes.. you can feel the urgency and human emotions..

It was amazing to see the surviors at the right place and some1 asked HR... what should we call this river.. And I said "Ganga". So did Hrithik.

Going into cinema with so much doubts... is never a good thing. I watched it like a critic. But i came out almost satisfied. The only thing is still bugging me is why VFX was so poor.

So, I wanna see if ppl who have seen amazing VFX in HW movies and some of BW movies, gonna watch and judge this movie.. on VFX or the grand scale it covers our past, presence and future.

HR kisses Pooja, "laabh le liya" Pooja kisses HR "aise laabh lete hai kya?" Hr to Pooja" I dont know. do it again".

There is so much to absorb and that's a sign of repeat viewing. MD has it all.

Rustom has come out on top initially between the clash of Mohenjo Daro and Rustom basically meaning Akshay Kumar comes out ahead of Hrithik Roshan. The opening of Rustom is around 35-40% while Mohenjo Daro is around 25%. The opening of Rustom is good while Mohenjo Daro is below the mark. Rustom has opened on 1900 theatres which will be around 2300 screens while Mohenjo Daro has opened on 2100 theatres which will be 2500 screens. Rustom has probably taken an opening which is among the top three of the year and this is a good result considering it was a clash. The films are close in single screens with Mohenja Daro even being ahead at many but in the multiplexes more or less across the country it is Rustom with a comfortable lead.

The key is Mumbai, Delhi / UP and East Punjab which are the bigger markets forming over 60% for films like Rustom and Mohejo Daro and all these markets has Rustom ahead. Mumbai was always going to come on Rustom side but with a Mumbai based subject, North could have been harder to pull through but the strong pull of Akshay Kumar has probably helped there. Mohenjo Daro is leading in South where Hrithik Roshan has a bigger draw, Mysore will be close though Mohenjaro Daro will come out on top in Nizam / Andhra and Tamil Nadu / Kerala. Mohenjo Daro also holds chances in East India but that just wont be enough as the main markets of North and Mumbai are with Rustom.

All I can say is to the question that was asked of HR in climax..

"Ganga" and many others said the same.. but some said Yamuna, or Sindhu..

Ppl goty up from Sindhu times to Ganga..
