The tax free status in UP also benefited Airlift earlier this year and Neerja got huge advantage as it would not have even crossed 60 crore nett if it were not for the tax advantages in so many states.

GROSS: (Actual Ticket Sales)

Kapoor & Sons - 96.27 Cr

Neerja - 90.36 Cr

NETT

Neerja - 71.65 Cr

Kapoor & Sons - 69.37 Cr

Neerja woulnd't have been success this much if it was not for real life story & patriotic theme.

KOIMOI are idiots when they just cut BUDGET From Collections, while BUDGET & SELLING PRICE are two different things.

Budget = Making + P&A (which distributors give)

If we deduct from NETT COLLECTIONS, that means as per KOIMOI Stats, Distributor is paying for P & A of films & then recieving a NETT (Deducted after TAX) with no SHARE in it 😆

That website is biggest blunder when they give this profit sharing articles... they don't even know what is actual profit.

PROFIT = When u recover PURCHASE PRICE + BONUS Collection = Which is DISTRIBUTOR SHARE < it shows Film's Actual PROFIT.

Distributor buy films, not producer showing budget.
