This subject is not in good taste, we must respect certain things like Beliefs and faith. All religions deserve respect and we must have regard for the followers. The comments bordering on lust in relation to God and Goddess are not in nice taste. It is expected that as mature and sensitive people we can surely make certain accommodations so as not to hurt those who revere Gods and Goddess.
Rest is your choice.

Characters aside I would prefer stronger roles and where there isn't any agni pariksha and all that. She doesn't need to give one. A husband should trust and support his wife no matter what.

Bold - I really like Nala Damayanti story for this reason... I think they're the best couple in Indian mythology

After Nala disappears, they arrange a second swayamvar for Damayanti who's a mother of two... I mean second marriage for a woman, I never heard anything like it in mythology.

I agree! This topic is definitely not in good taste. Epics such as mahabharat and ramayan should not be bollywoodfied, and such things as oh lord ram should be the most handsome and blah blah blah take away the entire life purpose of Ram and what he embodied. Please refrain from such topics, these avatars came on this earth to teach us something, and making such topics in regards to them is gross injustice. And it is also OFFENSIVE to the rest of us that take such epics and their lessons seriously. Just as other religions are respected, Hinduism and their gods should also be respected! Just my opinion.
