Even Alia had a flop. It's inevitable. Katrina was one of the few that had the longest streak but then she got some too. He has the talent and capabilities to keep going through. I def don't think he's going to be a guy that are years of flops. Maybe a tiny phase, but his script sense is better.

Dilwale's first day had cinemas packed where there were a crazy huge bunch of Varun fans, his fan base is unpredictable! You never know the future of his movies! While a clean hit is impossible, it might be a semi hit or so..

It depends on audience only, they can make any film hit or flop. Many films look sure shot hit before release, like jai ho, dilwale, but they also slide down.

Dishoom buzz is good if not huge, it's budget will ruin the clean success hope, but if clicked with masses,
