And the worst part is Patil himself was a Police constable. His own department disowned him, hounded him, threatened him, even jailed him, God knows what torture they did on him, to keep him silent. And all because he had dared to speak the truth that Salman was driving.

Police department deliberately botched up the evidence against Salman so he eventually gets acquitted in the hit and run case.

Everyone knows police there is horribly corrupted.

Why would Police give protection to this driver? Police is taking bribes from the accused all these years!

Its the Bishnois who were determined to punish the criminal, its the Bishnoi Court which had convicted him of poaching, but as usual HC judge took money, made up excuse of "benefit of doubt" and let him go

It's always said to put yourself in the shoes of the victim/his family or of the accused. One should instead put themselves in the shoes of the witness. What would you choose? Would you have the courage to tell the truth though your life is in danger, or would you choose to keep silent and let injustice prevail? That's when we get the right answer.

exactly.he was also driving,salman was also driving??posting it again he is talking about the pending case-next hearing of which is on august 10th..he should be given protection till then..

Who is saving Salman? After the news of Salman Khan being acquitted in Black Buck case came out, making millions of his fans happy, the prime witness in the case has now spoken up that Salman indeed killed the Black Buck. He is now awaiting the next hearing in August which is when he would once again rain down facts upon judiciary which has set Salman walk free in Chinkara's Poaching case.

In an exclusive chat with Dailybhaskar.com, Harish Dulani, the driver of the Gypsy in which Salman and others were seated when they allegedly killed the Black Buck has revealed that he was not called for the final hearing of the case when Salman was acquitted. He went on to add that had he been called to the attend the hearing he would have maintained his stance that he has always stood by that Salman was the one driving the Gypsy and he fired the bullet to kill the Black Buck, a rare specie of wild deer back in 1998.

In his conversation with Dailybhaskar, this is what all Harish divulged:

Back in 1998, while Hum Saath Saath Hain was being shot in Jodhpur, driver Harish Dulani had accompanied Salman and some other stars for three days on their escapades, which is when Salman fired the bullet.

On 24th January, 2002, Harish was made present in the court for the first time to give his prima facie in the case where he claimed that Salman had killed the deer.

According to reports, it was being maintained that Harish Dulani had flown off to Dubai and for the past ten years he was leading a king's life there with his family. However, when Dailybhaskar.com contacted him, it came to light that Harish continues to be a driver and on the night prior to the hearing he was driving from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur.

Driver Harish Dulani also said in his conversation, "They wanted to save Salman that's why they did not call me." But the question is who are They' in the case?

The man went on to add, "I don't understand how the court can acquit Salman in the case when I haven't even given my stance in the final hearing? Who says I was absconding? So far I have attended most of the hearings. I even attended court's hearings on 24th November, 2015 and 17th May, 2016, you can check my signatures in the court's records. About this last hearing nobody informed me. They could have spoken to me whenever they wanted."

When asked to recall the incident, driver Harish Dulani divulged that Salman had visited Jodhpur's Ghoda Farm on 26th and 28th September, 1998, which is when he poached down the Black Buck. He also recalled that Salman was very fond of driving Gypsy and that's why he made him sit at the back while taking to steering himself.

Recalling that day in 1998, Harish added, "I was just a driver and after the incident I was chucked out from the job. They did not even pay my monthly remuneration that time." He added, "If Supreme Court calls me for another hearing, I am going to attend it. However, money and security are my biggest challenges at the moment."

Harish also shared, "I don't even have a passport and people say I went to Dubai after that episode. My father got threats but he never divulged anything to anyone about the case. My mother and father both passed away due to extreme pressures and stress about the case."

Salman Khan was acquitted in the Black Buck's Poaching Case recently. The case was filed by the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan back in October 1998.
