Are you serious? Are you comparing a religious zealot/tyrant to Mastni?🤔And, your bringing sensitive topic like religion into this matter.

Mastani loved Bajirao.Khilji lusted over Padmavati and was not in love with her.

Mastani wanted to marry Bajirao and wanted to spend her life with him.Khilji wanted to keep Padmavati in his harem as a pimp.He had no intentions of marrying her and make her his wife.

There's vast difference between the two.

But yes, both are definitely selfish marriage breakers. That's the only similarity between the two.

Thank you for replying... i think I got my answer

Actually Mastani can be called a Hindu because her father was a Hindu. In India, children mostly follow father's religion.Jahangir was a Muslim because his father Akbar was a Muslim.

I don't know why Mastani was called a Muslim in the movie even though her father was a Hindu.

Is this for real?

Mastani LOVED Bajirao and it was completely mutual. Polygamy was normal in that period so it wasn't like she was a home-wrecker. She agreed to be second to Kashibai and share the love. Such typical mindset blaming Mastani, why can''t Bajirao be blamed? The love was mutual, only Mastani decided to fight for it.

If Mastani were a guy, people wouldn't find so many faults.

As for khilji, he was ruthless evil evil man. He destroyed and killed millions and lusted after Padmavati, someone else's wife. Padmini had zero intentions and would rather kill herself than be raped by him. Khilji was obsessed with her and would destroy everything just to have her in his harem, vaaast difference.

Mastani was badly sketched character. I don't think she was clingy and despo in reality. She was a princess for heaven's sake.

alauddin khilji is real though, read about him in class 9😆
