Varun an angel

Who can forget Taher Shah's song "Angel" which went viral soon after its release on April 8. From the lyrics to his winged avatar, netizens had a field day trolling the Pakistani singer for days after. On Sunday, Varun Dhawan was on Kapil Sharma's show dressed like Taher in the video and even lip synced to the song.

A source from the shoot reveals that during the audience interaction, a fan dared Varun to recreate the now-famous "Angel" in his own inimitable style. The actor took up the challenge, borrowing a robe and wig from one of the artistes and pulled it off flawlessly. "He even got judge Navjot Singh Sidhu to join him," adds the source.

His Dishoom buddy, John Abraham, turned himself into Aamir Khan's Bhuvan from Lagaan and danced on a Marathi song, "Zingat" while Jacqueline Fernandez grooved to the classic black-and-white chartbuster from Patanga, "Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon". Later Varun even turned nana to Ali Asgar's nani. It was a night of dares and our desi heroes... and videsi heroine... ensured they did not cut a sorry figure.
