Why is Deepika so selective only when it comes to Salman?

So as someone who is dying to see Deepika and Salman on screen together one thing I don't seem to understand is why is she so picky when it comes to signing a movie with Salman?

She wants a meaty and substantial role, but yet she signs movies like HNY?

Is the quantity ( or screen time) of a role really more important than the quality of one? As an outsider, and a fan of hers I'd rather watch her do a Aarfa than a Mohini...any day

I think she secretly just doesn't want to work with Sallu regardless of the role and everything else is just an excuse 😆

Jab mooli latkane se kaam ho jata hai, toh phir 6-7 months film ke shoots aur promotions mein barbaad kyun karein?

Atleast Mohini did not quit dancing and all her dreams because she got pregnant.
Why should DP even take up such weak characters where men are idolized and women are shown only as housewives after marriage?

Did you even watch Sultan? Nowhere in the movie do they show women "only as housewives after marriage" in fact Aarfa is shown to return to wrestling after giving birth to her daughter ( who they also end up training as a wrestler).

If you in her shoes would abort your child to pursue your dreams, that is your choice as a woman, if she keeps her child that is also her choice as a woman - no where in the film is she pressured to keep the child.

Also, by your logic then, Mohini who is a bar dancer should be considered regressive too then?

Logic of some fans is hilarious.

So Deepika will not work with Sallu as apparently Aarfa was a weak character but the almighty torch bearer of feminism is okay doing flower pot roles in XXX.

OH, she hates salman alright. She is not so desperate to do a movie with Salman that even if her role is of a flower pot, she could have a hit movie in her kitty. And mark my words, SHE IS NEVER GOING TO DO A MOVIE WITH SALMAN, period.
